TRAINING MANAGER CERTIFICATE

This course equips you with the skills to lead a high-impact training department that drives organizational success through data-driven decision-making, effective leadership, and innovative learning products. You’ll learn to assess the alignment of training initiatives with organizational goals, manage budgets, and measure the return on expectations (ROE) for key learning programs. The course also covers developing and managing learning products, including ensuring consistent quality and stakeholder collaboration.

In addition, you’ll develop strategies for leading teams through implementation, resource management, and technology integration while fostering a culture of continuous learning. The hands-on approach includes synchronous sessions and self-paced activities, giving you the tools to lead training teams, manage every aspect of the training function, and collaborate with peers to share insights and best practices.

This course is for training managers (with or without direct reports) who need to learn the basics of establishing and running a training department.

Sessions

The course consists of a series of four 3-hour sessions.

In addition to the four (4) online sessions, as shown below, approximately eight (8) hours, two hours per module, will be required for pre-course work, intersession assignments, and post-course work.
